Shelter for Victims of Domestic Violence, Inc.
We are a 501(C)(3) all-volunteer Board relying solely on private donations. We help by raising funds, independent of St. Louis County, soliciting individual and corporate contributions, hosting fundraisers, seeking discounts and in-kind donations from merchants, and writing grants.
The Shelter is a 39-bed facility professionally managed and operated by St. Louis County 24/7. It provides a temporary shelter haven with services for victims and their families.

Our mission is to support the Kathy J. Weinman Shelter for Victims of Domestic Violence. Our help is needed to provide funding and fill the gap that St. Louis County’s revenue funds and grants cannot provide.
Our goal is to help abused women and children change the course of their lives and get them back on their feet as confident, productive members of society.
