How You Can Help

You can help us take a stand against domestic violence.

Since families often come to the shelter with only the clothes on their backs, the Board helps with the daily necessities:

• Transportation
• Medical supplies/OTC/prescription drugs
• Diapers and formula
• Toiletries
• Clothing
• Laundry supplies

With the help of local partnerships, the Board has already provided:

• Kitchen equipment
• Major appliances
• Bedding and linens
• Security system
• Playground equipment
• Indoor/outdoor furniture
• Renovation/maintenance of the facility
• Accessibility provisions for persons with disabilities

These are just a few examples of what the Board funds through contributions, BUT we don’t stop there. We also help to provide a new beginning for the women and children by securing donations for many of the essentials they need for their new lives.
